Lyn and Todd, who found their match in each other on Match.com, were married on February 28, 2020.
Lyn chose a gorgeous sleeveless ballgown with an embellished bodice and a train. Her accessories included drop earrings and a full-length veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses tied with a white ribbon. Her two bridemaids wore matching full-length black dresses with ruched off-the-shoulder bodices. They carried small bouquets of red roses tied with black ribbons.
Todd looked handsome in a black suit with a black damask vest, white shirt, silver tie, silver pocket square, and red rose boutonniere. His two groomsmen wore black suits with black damask vests, white shirts, black ties, paisley pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres.
The officiant spoke during the ceremony about how both the bride’s and groom’s parents prayed that their child would meet and marry the right person, and told stories about when Lyn and Todd knew they were meant to be. A harpist performed during the ceremony.
Inside at the reception, guests dined on potatoes au gratin, fresh green beans with toasted almonds, sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli, and grilled chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and provolone cheese.
During the toasts, the maid of honor spoke about her friendship with Lyn and how she is a strong, beautiful woman with high standards.
Todd and Lyn’s first dance as man and wife was to “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. Lyn and her father danced to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder.
The three-tier wedding cake had a bottom tier done in white rosette frosting, a middle tier decorated with silver sparkles and a black ribbon, and a top tier done in a white quilted pattern with a black ribbon. The cake was topped with a “Mr. and Mrs.” ornament.
We hope this gorgeous couple enjoy a long and happy life together!
