October 30, 2014 Lynde and Jason were married at Villa Siena. To begin the ceremony. Jason walked down the aisle accompanied by the couple’s son and daughter. The couple had a traditional ceremony. Live guitar music played while guests were seated. As the bride began the processional, a friend of the couple sang. Instead of choosing a single bridesmaid, both of Lynde’s sisters were invited to be her maids of honor.
For her wedding day Lynde wore her hair in a half up-do with curls hanging down and a cathedral length veil. The gown was strapless with rouching across the middle and beaded edging across the top of the gown. Under her gown were open toed shoes. She carried a bouquet with blush roses and poppies. The groom wore a black tuxedo with an ivory vest and tie while his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests and ties. Bridesmaids wore black “convertible” dresses so they could alter the look of the dresses to reflect their own personalities.
After the ceremony guests were welcomed indoors for the reception. Gold vases with gold ribbon and floating candles sat in place of floral centerpieces on each table. When everyone was settled the married couple took to the dance floor to To Show You My Love by Mike Schmid followed by the father & daughter dance to The One You Need by Shane & Shane.
Dessert was sweet with a three-tiered square pink wedding cake with gold pearls and decorative gold piping. A silver ‘L’ sat on top. Favors were glass jars with pink ribbon filled with Hershey’s kisses.
Congratulations Lynde and Jason. May your lives together be as bright as a shooting star. We wish you the best.
