Mariah and Austin, who met in high school and began dating in college, were married on October 15, 2017.
Mariah selected a romantic gown with lace cap sleeves, a lace bodice, a portrait back with button detail, a sweetheart neckline, and a skirt with a train. Her accessories included a pearl pendant, pearl bracelet, drop earrings, sparkly strappy heels, and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of white flowers accentuated with greenery. Her six bridesmaids wore full-length pale blue dresses in a number of silhouettes, and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Austin got married in a pale gray suit with a white tie and white lily boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore pale gray suits with pale blue ties and white rose boutonnieres.
During the ceremony, Mariah and Austin lit a unity candle, a bridesmaid sang “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon, and the officiant reminded the couple of the importance of forgiveness.
At the reception, guests dined on Caesar and mixed-greens salads, pasta Valducci, chicken Parmesan, and Tuscan chicken. In lieu of a wedding cake, the couple had a dessert table with miniature cheesecakes, chocolates, and fruit.
In the speeches, Mariah’s father talked about a trip Austin took to visit her. The best man complimented Mariah’s beauty and said that he couldn’t have picked a better couple to third-wheel with than the newlyweds. The maid of honor talked about how the couple made their time together count when they were in a long-distance relationship.
Mariah and Austin shared a special first dance together. Mariah also danced with her father, and Austin danced with his mother.
The newlyweds left their special day under the signature sparkler sendoff.
We wish Austin and Mariah a long life full of love and happiness!
