Maria and Richard, who met at work, were married on October 21, 2018.
Maria selected a striking strapless trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline, lace bodice, and a train. Her accessories included pearl earrings, necklace, and bracelet, and a full-length veil. She carried a bouquet of deep red roses accented with pink lilies. She was accompanied by a matron of honor.
Richard was dressed in a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt, black vest, black bow tie, deep red pocket square, and red rose boutonniere. His best man wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, black vest, black bow tie, white pocket square, and pale pink rose boutonniere.
In the religious outdoor ceremony, the couple prayed, took Communion together, and lit a unity candle to signify their new marriage.
At the reception, guests dined on Caesar salad with tomatoes as well as beef, salmon, cheesy pasta, and red potatoes.
The best man spoke about his close friendship with the groom and how happy he was for the newlyweds.
Maria and Richard’s first dance was to “Heaven” by Kane Brown. Other reception fun included a bouquet toss, a garter toss, and a live band.
The three-tier wedding cake had a drapery frosting effect on the bottom, while the top two tiers looked like scroll-print lace with a button detail. The cake was topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s last name.
We wish Maria and Richard love and joy in their beautiful new life together!
