Marissa and Michael were married on November 29, 2015 and what a beautiful November wedding it was.
Marissa donned a swelling white dress with a full skirt topped by a Queen Anne-style neckline. Her soft white bouquet of white hydrangea matched Michael’s white rose accent pinned to his lapel. Groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids were dressed in dark navy.
Sincere and humorous rang true to many guests during the reception at Villa Siena. Michael’s Best Man referred to himself as the groom’s best friend, and noted he’ll continue being Marissa and Michael’s third wheel.
The newlyweds had their first dance to the song “Who I Am With You” by Chris Young. The Father Daughter dance was set to “Hold On” by Michael Bublé, while the Mother Son dance was to “My Wish” by Rascal Flats.
The whole family was also invited to hit the dance floor with a traditional Assyrian dance. Family and guests also enjoyed the dollar dance and anniversary dance.
Tables at the reception were set with a matching gold and navy color scheme, each table pinned by a billowing bouquet of white hydrangea and accented by a narrow, floor-length tablecloth of sparkling gold.
Marissa and Michael’s memorable wedding cake was four tiered, with seemingly drawn on blue vines and blossoms, and adorned with blue-tipped white flowers.
Dessert also included Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and an expansive candy bar back dropped by a narrow chalkboard reading, “Love is Sweet Please Take a Treat” in light pink chalk.
