Mary Kate and Chad met during a drive-through movie with friends and connected instantly. For their wedding day, June 13, 2015 the bride wore a headband with a veil. Her gown featured lace overlay with a beaded belt and full skirt. The bridal bouquet brought together an assortment of purple flowers. Under her gown was a pair of silver strappy sandals. The bridesmaid’s dresses were mauve each with different style tops and rouching across the bodice. They finished at the knee. To marry his bride, Chad wore a black tuxedo with white shirt, bowtie and handkerchief. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black bowties and black vests.
During the reception, signature drinks were served at the bar with the Lady Katie, a vodka and lemonade mix and the groom’s Chadman, a sweet and sour whiskey.
Speeches included the best man talking of how he and the groom were neighbors when they were little and one of their favorite activities was to throw rocks at each other, but he was the best friend who introduced Mary Kate and Chad. The maid of honor talked of how she met the bride six years earlier and how she remembered the bride and groom’s first kiss – the one that took place in the back seat of her car at the drive-in movie.
Four tiers of cake were covered with buttercream frosting and purple accent flowers cascading down the tiers. The groom’s cake had a guitar on it. Favors were as sweet as the rest of the day, with little cakes in jam jars and a candy table.
The couple had a photo booth for guests to take pictures and a slideshow of the couple played. The father of the bride talked about the wedding process and thanked everyone for coming. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Mary Kate and Chad. May your lives together be filled with support, comfort and love. We wish you the best.
