Megan and Colin were married on March 30, 2017.
Megan looked dazzling in a classic ballgown with spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, a beaded belt, and a full tulle skirt. Her accessories included sparkly gold Badgley Mischka heels and drop earrings. She carried a bouquet that featured roses, peonies, and succulents accented with other botanical elements, all tied with a white ribbon. Her seven bridesmaids wore full-length sage green gown in a variety of silhouettes, and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Colin dressed to impress in a gray suit with a subtle pinstripe, ivory tie, and rose boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore gray suits, ivory bow ties, and succulent boutonnieres.
During the ceremony, the officiant encouraged the newlyweds to paint a picture of God with their marriage.
At the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of salad with raspberry vinaigrette, beef tenderloin, and chicken.
Megan’s sister shared stories of the two of them while they were growing up and while they were in college, and remarked on how wonderful a teacher the bride is.
Colin and Megan shared their first dance to “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett. Colin and his mother danced to “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.”
The wedding cake was composed of four tiers and featured a cascade of flowers and succulents.
We wish the happy couple all the best in their new life together!
