Megan and Garrett joined us at Villa Siena December 31, 2013 to ring in the New Year as husband and wife. The couple met on a flight to Phoenix, Arizona where they had seats next to each other. Knowing only his name and that he was a farmer in Casa Grande, Megan did a little research, found his phone number through Google and the rest is history.
For their wedding day, Megan had a unique dress with an embossed flower and pearl design with a drop waist that flowed into a silk skirt. The look perfectly flattered her figure. A diamond bracelet and hair clasp sparkled throughout the day. The bridal bouquet showcased pink and white flowers, wrapped with rhinestones. Megan’s bridesmaids wore champagne colored lace dresses that came above the knee. Strappy silver shoes added some fun to the ensemble. Garrett wore a black tuxedo with black tie and white flower in his lapel.
As guests entered the Villa they were greeted with framed pictures of the couple and their family. For the reception, tall standing vases with hydrangeas adorned the tables. Crystals hung down from the vases. Table numbers were displayed in smaller bottles filled with cotton and decorated, each with a unique pattern of rhinestones.
Speeches were given by the Maid of Honor who talked about her childhood memories with Megan and the Best man who spoke to Garrett’s supportive nature. For their first dance, Megan and Garrett chose Can’t Help Falling In Love With You by Elvis Presley.
The couple’s wedding cake was a chocolate cake with banana filling covered with an almond cream cheese frosting.
Sparklers lit up the night as the couple enjoyed the first signature Villa Siena send-off of 2014.
Congratulations Megan and Garret. May your days be a continuing adventure. We wish you the best.
