Melyssa and Kori were married on February 5, 2021.
Melyssa dazzled in a romantic sleeveless A-line gown with spaghetti straps, illusion neckline, embroidered bodice, plunging back, and full skirt with appliques and a train. Her bouquet was composed of white and pale pink roses with eucalyptus and other greenery. Her five bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length pale pink dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Kori got married in a dark blue suit with a white shirt, white damask tie, white pocket square, and a white flower boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore dark blue suits with white shirts, dark blue ties, and white flower boutonnieres.
Melyssa walked down a white runner lined with white and pink rose petals to meet her groom. In the outdoor ceremony, the pastor shared a Top 10 list of what the couple love about each other. The attendees were given cones of flowers petals, which they tossed during the kiss.
Guests signed a wood keepsake in the shape of a mountain in lieu of a guestbook.
Next, everyone enjoyed a meal of classic Caesar salad with pear tomatoes, Romano cheese, house-made Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese crisp; braised beef short ribs slow-cooked with vegetables, herbs, and wine; grilled Atlantic salmon with Hollandaise sauce and lemon dill beurre blanc, topped with crème fraiche and caviar; creamy mashed potatoes; and assorted grilled vegetables.
During the speeches, the maid of honor talked about how she and her husband met the newlyweds. The best man showed a video of a member of the Green Bay Packers congratulating the couple on their wedding.
Kori and Melyssa’s first dance as man and wife was to “Better Together” by Luke Combs. Melyssa and her father danced to “Sweet Child O’Mine.” Kori and his mother danced to “You Are My Sunshine.” Kori and his stepmother shared a special dance as well. There was also an anniversary dance.
Each layer of the three-tier wedding cake was done in white frosting with rose gold dusted on the bottom half. The cake was decorated with roses and greenery and topped with an “I Love You 3000” ornament.
The newlyweds left their big day under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish the happy couple all the best!
