Micaela & James ~ March 11, 2017

Micaela, an athletic trainer, and James, a wrestling coach, met at the high school they both worked at, and on March 11, 2017, they were married.

Micaela wore an elegant sleeveless V-neck gown from Kairas Bridal that featured lace and beaded embellishments on the bodice and hem, and a beaded belt. She accessorized with a jeweled headband, drop earrings, and a pendant necklace. Her bouquet featured a variety of flowers in tones of white, pink, blue, and coral, with botanical accents. Her seven bridesmaids wore full-length navy-blue lace gowns with ribbon belts, and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.

James chose a navy blue suit with gray vest, royal blue tie, white pocket square, and coral-colored flower boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore navy blue suits with coral ties, pocket squares, and boutonnieres.

At the reception, guests were served a plated meal of Caesar salad, twice-baked potatoes, tortellini primavera, braised beef short ribs, and sauteed chicken breast in mushroom marsala sauce. There was a dessert table featuring fruit tarts, chocolate-covered strawberries, and mini parfaits, and guests were invited to choose a doughnut from a large board filled with an assortment of them.

During the speeches, Micaela’s younger sister Joanna recounted the story of when they were children, and Micaela punched a boy in the face for making fun of Joanna.

Micaela and her father danced to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman, and James and his mother danced to “It’s Your Song” by Garth Brooks.

The white fondant wedding cake featured four tiers with a quilted detail and the couple’s monogram.

James and Micaela, who honeymooned in St. Lucia, left their special day under the signature sparkler, send-off.

We wish the newlyweds nothing but the best now and in the future!
