Michelle & Adam ~ February 15, 2013

February 15, 2013 brought Michelle and Adam to Villa Siena for their wedding celebration and reception. The couple met through the bride’s aunt who introduced them when Michelle was visiting. The tight family connection was clear throughout the day as the family made centerpieces and helped organize the various aspects of the day.

For the ceremony, Michelle chose a strapless gown with lace edging and detailing. The dress had an empire waist that flowed out into a graceful skirt finished with a cathedral length veil. The bouquet for the bride included roses, hydrangeas, baby’s breath, daisies and spider mums. The bridesmaids wore mauve knee-length dresses also with empire waists but accented with black belts and black shoes.

The groom chose a traditional tuxedo with black vest and paisley mauve tie. The groomsmen wore mauve ties with their tuxedos. An indoor ceremony in the Chianciano room was the perfect venue for this couple. Pink and white flower petals lined the runner to the stone fireplace, which was decorated with candles and three vases of flowers. There the officiant joined the couple in a knot ceremony. A poem titled The Promise was read, talking about the best qualities a couple can bring to a marriage.

After the ceremony both sides of the family gathered for a picture. Then the celebration began with the couple dancing to Luke Bryan’s Drunk on You for their first dance, followed by I Loved Her First for the father/daughter dance.

The cake was three tiers of shades of purple, fading from deep plum to light purple. Inside a chocolate cake frosted with vanilla icing offered a delicious treat. If that wasn’t enough, a donut station helped add a little more sweetness to the day.

Congratulations Michelle and Adam. We hope the love you celebrated on your wedding day will be the same love you share for the rest of your lives.
