Michelle & Taylor ~ March 30, 2012

March 30th, 2012 welcomed Michelle and Taylor to Villa Siena for a spectacular day of festivities honoring their love. The couple met the old fashioned way – at work. This time-tested recipe for developing relationships has brought a significant number of couples to our private Tuscan Villa. Each and every wedding that takes place here is memorable to our staff and Michelle and Taylor’s celebration was no exception. Looking radiant, Michelle wore a strapless lace dress with an empire waist and A-line silhouette. Her bouquet was an excellent compliment to her gown with pale pink roses and white hydrangeas. The effect was one of simplistic elegance without any distractions from the gown or the bride. The bridesmaids wore knee-length single strap dresses that have been all the rage this season and offered a nice contrast that allowed the bride to shine. The groom, Taylor, wore a bluish/grey tuxedo with satin piping, a grey satin vest and striped tie and looked extremely stylish, offering a great summer alternative to the traditional black tuxedo. The groomsmen’s navy vests pulled the look together. Guests were invited to take a packet of tissues bound with ribbon ‘for tears of joy’ before the ceremony. A quiet hush fell over the guests. An air of calm happiness surrounded the ceremony as the bride walked down the aisle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Inside, tables were set and finishing touches put on before the reception began. Place cards were set on each table with the name of a different city. Before friends and family entered the reception they were invited to write ‘the keys to marriage’ on pieces of paper and place them in a treasure chest for the couple. The chicken with spinach, prime rib and stuffed ravioli were all big hits and fueled the guests with energy to dance the night away. The Black Crowes announced the bridesmaids. And then the magical moment happened when husband and wife took the stage entranced with one another. The favors were beer koozies, which are always a hit and a fun way to spur fond memories. Thank you, Michelle and Taylor for trusting us with your wedding. We hope the love and happiness you felt today is felt every day of your lives.
