The Adventure Begins for Natasha and Cyrus
Natasha and Cyrus’s August wedding was the start of a new chapter in their lives. Therefore, it had to be special — and the team here at the Villa made sure it was!
The couple opted for a romantic, light color palette of white and dusty blue. Our indoor space, La Stanza Chianciano, was decorated with white roses, blue hydrangea, and a beautiful white chuppah (a canopy couples stand under in traditional Jewish weddings). The bridal party was dressed to match: the bridesmaids wore dusty blue gowns that matched the blue flowers, Cyrus and his groomsmen wore classy navy suits with dusty blue ties (and matching Jordan sneakers), and Natasha was breathtaking in her white A-line gown.
The bride’s uncle officiated the ceremony. It was a lovely ceremony full of special moments for Natasha, Cyrus, and their families. The couple was covered in the Tallit (prayer shawl) that Natasha’s late father had used, they participated in a wine blending ceremony, and the ceremony ended with Cyrus stepping on a glass.
After the wedding, guests moved to the reception hall for dinner and dancing. But first, our newlyweds had a surprise for everyone: after their first dance, they announced the gender of their new baby!
The evening was filled with laughter, love, and lots of great food. Everyone enjoyed a meal of spring mix salad, green beans with toasted almonds, parmesan risotto, and an entree of grilled Atlantic salmon with hollandaise or flat iron steak with green chimichurri. It was clear that this was the wedding Natasha and Cyrus had dreamed of — and it was the perfect way to start their life as newlyweds AND parents.
