A meeting at a pool party led to true love for Nesli and JR, who were married on May 11, 2024.
Nesli looked beautiful in a lace off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and a train. She accessorized with a Y-shaped necklace, drop earrings, and two bracelets. Her bouquet was composed of white and pink flowers accented with eucalyptus and other greenery. Her six bridesmaids wore individual full-length dusty rose dresses. Four bridesmaids carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet, and the two junior bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses.
JR got married in a navy blue tuxedo with navy blue vest, white shirt, blue tie, blue pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore navy blue suits with white shirts, pink ties, pink pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.
The groom’s cousin officiated the outdoor ceremony.
Later, guests enjoyed a meal of baby greens wrapped in cucumber strips with fresh berries, feta cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette; assorted grilled vegetables; twice-baked potatoes; sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce; and grilled chicken breast.
During the toasts, the maid of honor joked with the couple and talked about their dogs, the groom’s father spoke about the wedding favors meant to protect the guests’ homes, and the groom’s best friend advised the couple to continue their lives in God’s path. Other toasts and speeches came from the matron of honor and some of the groom’s friends.
The first dance was to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. Other special dances included a mother/son dance, a father/daughter dance, and an anniversary dance.
Other wedding fun included the shoe game and a phone on which guests could leave voice messages for the newlyweds.
The four-tier wedding cake was done in white with brushed gold accents. It was decorated with roses and topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s last name.
JR and Leslie left their wedding under a bubble exit.
Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
