Nichole & Chris ~ May 14, 2016

peach-blush-wedding-villa-siena-26Nichole and Chris were married on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Nichole modeled an Essense of Australia wedding gown from Uptown Bridal in Chandler, complete with a sweetheart neckline and a ballgown skirt made of tulle. She held a posy bouquet of blush and white roses and white hydrangeas, and stood upon blush Badgley Mischka peep-toe heels. She and her bridesmaids all wore matching pajamas before they changed into soft pink sheath gowns with varying necklines.

Chris sported a three-piece black suit with a white dress shirt and black necktie – complete with a white rose on his lapel. His groomsmen also donned black suits, theirs with blush vests and neckties, their lapels also adorned with white roses.

The outdoor wedding was officiated by Montana Meadows, who oversaw the wine ceremony. The bride processional was to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding, and the bride and groom processional was to “L-O-V-E” by Joss Stone.

Later, dinner started with a plated Caesar salad followed by a buffet offering twice-baked potatoes, mixed vegetables, braised beef short ribs, and grilled chicken. The three-tiered, white fondant cake had white-piping details on the third and first tier, with the middle layer marked with a gold “R.” There were also gold pearls at the base of each layer, and pink roses.

There was also a candy table consisting of gummies, Air Heads, M&M’s, jellybeans, and frosted animal crackers – all with a sign reading, “Love is Sweet Take a Treat.”

During toasts, the best man Matt recalled memories of the groom, and how Chris was like in middle school and high school. The Maid of Honor, Andee, and Matron of Honor, Tracy, both gave toasts about the bride and groom. Others talked as well, including the mother and stepfather of the bride, Richard and Carol, and the groom’s parents, Jon and Mary.

Nichole and Chris’ first dance was to Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic.” The Father/Daughter Dance was to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack, and the Mother/Son Dance was to “In My Life” by The Beatles.

We wish all the best to the new couple!
