Engaged in Ireland, Nicole and Andy married at Villa Siena August 9, 2014.
During the ceremony the couple lit a unity candle and incorporated a rose flower ceremony into the celebration. Nicole glowed throughout the wedding day as she and her new husband exchanged private smiles. The bride wore a shimmering wedding gown with beaded bodice and full tulle skirt. Sheer caplet sleeves finished the dress. With her hair in a partial up-do, her diamond necklace shone. The sparkle didn’t end with the dress as crystals were pinned in a bouquet of blush and mauve roses with white calla lilies. Tucked under her dress were silver crystal encrusted heels. At Nicole’s side were her bridesmaids in ice blue gowns with empire waists and a floor-length hemline. All three of her flower girls wore diamond tiaras with dresses with full skirts. Andy opted for a black tuxedo with white shirt, vest and tie while his groomsmen wore silver vests and ties with their black tuxedos.
Decorations for the wedding included signs proclaiming the couple’s love for one another such as Once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life love gives us a fairy tale. Or I am y beloved’s and my beloved is mine ‘Song of songs 6:3’
At the reception the maid of honor talked about times she had spent with the bride while the best man used his time to make fun of his best friend. The reception was made a little livelier by the appearance of the Arizona State University mascot.
The couple’s first dance was a traditional dance to Red is a Rose, which was played by the Irish Band hired for the reception. The couple also had a DJ for the evening’s entertainment. The father & daughter dance was to I Loved Her First by Heartland followed by the mother & son dance to A Mother Like Mine.
The dinner reception ended with a four-tiered vanilla wedding cake with white fondant and white decorative piping. The middle layer was decorated with a diamond brooch while a silver ‘S’ sat on top of the cake. Favors were bottle openers and beer coozies that read To Have To Hold To Keep Your Beer Cold.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Nicole and Andy. May your love be as fair and enchanting as the grassy hills of Ireland. We wish you the best.
