October 25, 2015 Niki and Austin married after more than two years of dating. Austin proposed by taking Niki on a surprise trip to Paris. For their wedding day, Villa Siena was decorated with photographs from Gone With the Wind, the bride’s favorite movie, as well as engagement photos of the couple.
The bride’s gown came from Destiny’s Bride and featured a beaded bodice with sweetheart neckline and ruffled skirt and train. Niki wore her hair down with a cathedral length veil. Her bridesmaids were in rose-petal pink gowns with empire waists and flowing skirts. The groom wore a black tuxedo with bowtie, black vest and white shirt. The groomsmen were dressed to match. During the ceremony the Rabbi read the meaning of Shalom and told the couple they should celebrate more than marriage, they should celebrate life.
For the reception the couple was seated at a sweetheart table as family and friends gave speeches. Pink up-lighting lit the room. As the best man gave his speech he shared that he hoped to find a love like Niki and Austin’s. The maid of honor spoke of how she and the bride bonded over faith and God and talked of how supportive Niki is. The father of the bride gave his speech from the heart. Through his emotions, he talked of how it has been his dream to see his daughter so happy and he thanked God and Austin’s mom for his daughter’s happiness.
The couple’s first dance was to a special mix of Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran and a swing instrumental. The father & daughter dance was to Daddy’s Angel by T-Carter followed by My Wish by Rascal Flats for the mother & son and a daughter & mother dance to You’re Gonna Miss This by Trace Atkins. After dancing came the garter removal and the bouquet toss.
The four-tiered wedding cake was finished with pearl and satin detail, fondant flowers and in back superheroes ripping through the vanilla and chocolate cake. Favors were vanilla cupcakes with pink frosting.
The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell. Congratulations Niki and Austin. May each day together be a new celebration of life. We wish you the best.
