They met when he was a customer at the restaurant she worked at, and on April 7, 2017, Jason and Niki became man and wife.
Niki chose a dazzling strapless lace Lillian Lottie gown with a sweetheart neckline, embellished bodice, and buttons down the back. She accessorized with a pendant necklace and a knee-length veil trimmed in lace from her mother’s wedding dress. Her large, all-white bouquet was tied with a white ribbon. Her four bridesmaids wore full-length, slate-blue dresses with lace illusion necklines, and carried large bouquets of blue and white flowers tied with a white ribbon.
Jason dressed in a traditional black tuxedo with a blue bowtie. His four groomsmen wore gray suits with white shirts, blue ties, and Niki’s longtime friend, also a member of the wedding party, wore a gray suit with a blue shirt and a silver tie. All the gentlemen wore white rose boutonnieres.
During the ceremony, Jason called Niki “the woman of his dreams,” and the officiant reminded the couple that marriage is not a destination, but the beginning of a journey.
At the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of sliced beef tenderloin with cognac sauce, grilled Atlantic salmon with lemon beurre blanc, potatoes, and green beans. Instead of a wedding cake, there was a tiered display of miniature pies in a variety of flavors.
During the speeches, Niki’s father told the newlyweds that they reminded him of he and his wife. Niki’s maid of honor spoke about how she’s proud to call Niki her best friend, and that Niki grew up to be someone she admired.
Jason and Niki danced their first dance as a married couple to “Remedy” by Adele. Niki and her father danced to “Too Much.”
Niki and Jason took a short cruise after the wedding, with a longer honeymoon in Europe planned for later in the year.
We wish the newlyweds a long and beautiful life together!
