David and Niyoosha became man and wife on June 11, 2021.
Niyoosha looked stunning in a sleeveless trumpet gown with spaghetti straps, an embellished bodice, and a full tulle skirt. Her accessories included a diamond necklace and a cathedral-length veil trimmed in lace. Her bouquet was composed of white roses and lilies with eucalyptus accents. Her matron of honor wore a black, full-length, off-the-shoulder sheath dress. Her nine bridesmaids wore matching full-length black strapless gowns with V necklines. They carried bouquets of white roses.
David wore a black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square, and white flower boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore gray suits with gray vests, white shirts, black ties, black pocket squares, and white flower boutonnieres.
The ceremony was conducted in English and Persian. A collection of symbolic objects like mirrors, candles, apples, and honey were displayed near the fireplace. The officiant suggested that David buy Niyoosha gifts each year on their anniversary. After the ceremony was complete, the newlyweds fed each other honey.
Next guests sat down to a meal of spinach salad with walnuts and strawberries; roast beef with a barbecue glaze; chicken stuffed with cream cheese and spinach; mashed potatoes; and corn with red peppers.
A number of people gave toasts, including the matron of honor (Niyoosha’s sister); David’s sister; and the best man.
Niyoosha and David’s first dance was to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Niyoosha and her father danced to a Persian song, as did David and his mother. Other wedding fun included a dance around the wedding cake, a garter toss, and a bouquet toss.
The four-tier wedding cake was done with white brushed frosting. It was decorated with a cascade of white anemones.
Best wishes to this beautiful couple!
