Nubia & Marcos ~ January 15, 2022

Nubia and Marcos became husband and wife on January 15, 2022. Nubia looked radiant in an A line gown including a plunging neckline, adorned with lace and floral with a stunning veil. Nubia’s bouquet was composed of a mix of blush and white roses. Her three bridesmaids coordinated in dusty green dresses and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Marcos was dressed in a light grey tux with a dark grey tie and a white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore dark grey tuxes, light grey ties, and white rose boutonnieres.

The ceremony took place in our Piazza Toscana. Their officiant spoke in Spanish while Nubia and Marcos read their vows in English. The ceremony was filled with many special moments including a rope ceremony that involved both sets of parents.

Once Nubia and Marcos sealed their love with a kiss, guests moved into the ballroom for dinner, dancing, and other fun traditions! Guests dined on a meal of mixed green salad with carrots, pears, tomatoes with a vinaigrette dressing topped with a parmesan crisp; herb crusted pork loin; grilled chicken breast with mild chipotle glaze and pineapple, peach and mango salsa; tortellini primavera; and potatoes au gratin.

Nubia and Marcos’ first dance was to “Flightless Bird” by Iron and Wine. Nubia and her father danced to “Hoy Se Casa Mi Nina” by Antonio Flores while Marcos and his mother danced to “Sleepwalk” by Santo & Jonny.

Other reception fun included a bouquet toss, garter toss, dollar dance and padrinos dance.

Their stunning five tier cake was designed in all white frosting with delicate swirls up the center. Blush and white roses were scatted throughout the cake.

The happy couple ended the night with a signature sparkler exit.

Wishing all the best for the new Mr. and Mrs. Leyva!
