Oumou dazzled in an off-the-shoulder ballgown with a V neckline and a full skirt. Her accessories included a jeweled hair ornament and drop earrings. She carried white lilies tied with a ribbon. Her five bridesmaids wore individual full-length clover green dresses. They carried lilies tied with green ribbons.
Spencer got married in a beige suit with a beige vest, white shirt, peach-colored tie, peach-colored pocket square, and lily boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore beige suits with white shirts and clover green bow ties.
The couple’s dog, Amber, was the flower girl during the outdoor ceremony.
After the ceremony, attendees dined on slow-cooked braised beef short ribs, chicken with herbs, herb-roasted potatoes, and rice with cheese.
During the speeches, Oumou’s maid of honor, her best friend since middle school, talked about how wonderful Oumou is and about her beautiful spirit. The best man, Spencer’s brother, said how happy he was for the newlyweds and how happy he is that Oumou is part of the family.
The couple’s first dance was to “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay.
The three-tier white wedding cake was done in a brushed frosting design. It was decorated with lilies and topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s first names.
Spencer and Oumou left their special day under a bubble exit.
