From ASU to “I Do”: Paige and Andrej
When Paige and Andrej first set eyes on each other as freshmen at ASU, they had no idea that their chance meeting would lead them down the aisle. But sure enough, this sweet couple became husband and wife this past December in a romantic ceremony adorned in shades of red and pink.
The wedding took place outdoors under a sunny sky (one of the many benefits of winter in Arizona). The Plaza Toscana was decorated with white greenery, a white aisle runner, and red and white rose petals. Once guests took their seats, the procession began. Everyone looked their best: the bridesmaids wore long, burgundy gowns, Andrej and his groomsmen looked sharp in black tuxedos, and even the couple’s dog was dressed up for the occasion.
Of course, no one looked quite so stunning as Paige. Her white A-line dress was classically beautiful, and the jeweled belt and nude illusion sleeves covered in floral appliques made the gown extra glamorous. As she walked down the aisle (to the beautiful sounds of a string quartet), her lovely smile lit up the whole Plaza.
The couple had a traditional ceremony, complete with scripture readings, a unity candle, and of course the exchange of vows and rings. Soon enough, Paige and Andrej were Mr. and Mrs. Sodoma — and it was officially time to celebrate!
When guests reached their places at the reception, they found a Slovakian cookie waiting for them. And this treat was only the start of the wedding feast; throughout the evening, guests enjoyed caesar salad, creamy mashed potatoes, green beans, sauteed chicken breast, and grilled Atlantic salmon with hollandaise — yum!
And of course, the night was filled with dancing, laughter, and love. It was clear that our newlyweds were truly having the time of their lives, and we believe it was the perfect start to a truly happy marriage.
