Swiping right on a dating app was the beginning of forever for Rien and Sam, who were married on December 19, 2024.

Rien looked gorgeous in a sleeveless A-line gown with spaghetti straps, a bodice with an embellished leaf pattern and a plunging illusion neckline, and a long skirt with a train. She accessorized with a necklace and pearl earrings. Her all-white bouquet was accented with eucalyptus and other greenery. Her four bridesmaids wore matching sleeveless full-length dusty rose dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Sam got married in a slate-blue suit with a slate-blue vest, white shirt, blue and white floral tie, dusty rose pocket square and white flower boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore dark blue suits with dark blue vests, blue and white floral ties, dusty rose pocket squares and white flower boutonnieres.

A number of people gave toasts at the wedding, including the father of the bride, mother of the groom, best man, maid of honor, and the newlyweds.
Rien and Sam’s first dance was a choreographed dance to “Die With a Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Rien and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and Sam and his mother danced to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.
Special touches at the wedding included a photobooth; putting the couple’s dogs on the bar napkins; a photobomb challenge where each table would run up and take a photo with the newlyweds; coloring books for the kids; and more.

The three-tier white wedding cake had a pink lace design on the top and bottom layers. It was decorated with white flowers and topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s last name. Each tier was a different flavor.

We wish all the best to the happy couple in their new life together!
