Riley & Brayden ~ July 10, 2021

A Romantic Wedding in Shades of Red

Riley and Brayden’s July wedding was dripping with gorgeous shades of red, pink, and blush. The bridesmaids were dressed in stunning red gowns, Brayden and his groomsmen wore red ties with their tan suits, and our Plaza Toscana was covered in lush arrangements of greenery and roses, geraniums, and carnations in white, red, and pink. Of course, our bride wore white; Riley was a vision in her lacy, long-sleeved gown, complete with a red and white floral crown.

The Arizona heat was beating down during the ceremony, but the couple came prepared with complementary fans for all their guests. The groom’s brother, Briston, officiated the ceremony and added a little humor and heart to the couple’s traditional vows. The ceremony was short and sweet, and sealed with a kiss — and then it was time to celebrate in style!

After a brief cocktail hour, guests settled down at their tables for the reception. Our bride and groom kicked things off by dancing to Thompson Square’s “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?” Then, Riley and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, and Brayden and his mother danced to Rascal Flatts’ “One Wish” while guests enjoyed a dinner of mixed green salad, potatoes au gratin, steamed vegetables, braised beef short ribs, and chicken breast with prosciutto and cheese.

Throughout the evening, guests mingled, laughed, danced, and shared memories of Riley and Brayden. When dessert rolled around, guests had their pick of a variety of pies: pumpkin, lemon sour cream, cookie butter, triple berry cheesecake, and banana cream (yum)! The newlyweds were beaming from beginning to the end of the evening, and it was clear that this was just the start of a very happy life together.
