Roshen & Ajay had an incredible 2 day wedding celebration on January 21st and 22nd. Ajay is Catholic and Roshen is Hindu so they planned a celebration that included a full catholic ceremony at Saint Mary’s Basilica and then hosted a lovely reception at The Foothills Golf Club. The second day, a full scale traditional Hndu ceremony and celebration was held at Villa Siena. The morning ceremony lasted about 2 hours and was replete with a large scale Mandup and all the traditional aspects of a Hindu wedding ceremony. The 250 guests were treated to a lovely luncheon of authentic Indian Cuisine. In keeping with the Indian tradition, guests went home for a rest while Ajay and Roshen went to Ajay’s home for a family ceremony. At sunset, approximately 300 guest returned to Villa for a spectacular wedding celebration. At cocktail hour, guests were treated to several choreographed dances, both by the couple as well as Roshen’s sister, Nisha. Roshen’s vision of a breathtaking banquet was realized when guests entered the tented courtyard to see thousands of twinkling lights, crystal centerpieces and an elegant combination of black, hot pink and silver. The tent, provided by Tri-Rentals held out the few scattered showers that evening. Bon Cuisine, Villa Siena’s in-house caterer wowed guests with a delicious array of Indian and American dishes. Finally, the entire group had some serious fun dancing before the end of a perfect evening. The wedding coordinators at Villa Siena worked with Jeanne at Events Your Way to be certain that the event went smoothly and that the myriad of details were taken care of. Ben Quillian took care of photography for the entire 2 day event. The lovely vidoe above was created by Seredipity Videography, a favorite with many Villa Siena couples. Roshen and Ajay are back to their very busy lives with Ajay returning to work in the Bay Area and Roshen finishing up law school. We wish them the best in their future.
