Matt and Roxy became man and wife on February 8, 2020.
Roxy chose a stunning off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a train. She accessorized with small earrings and a long veil. Her bouquet was composed of large white blooms with small pink accent flowers and assorted greenery. Her man of honor wore a black suit with a white shirt, blush pink tie, and flower boutonniere. Her four bridesmaids wore individual full-length pink dresses and carried smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.
Matt looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt, black bow tie, and flower boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore black suits with black vests, white shirts, blush pink tie, and blush pink flower boutonniere.
After an offsite ceremony, guests arrived at Villa Siena. The meal comprised caprese chicken with buffalo mozzarella, grilled artichoke hearts, and roasted red and yellow tomatoes; and vegetable Wellington wrapped in puff pastry over a bed of angel hair pesto pasta. There were two signature drinks: a Manhattan for the groom, and a French Lady for the bride.
Speeches were given by the best man, the man of honor, the father of the groom, and the father of the bride, who said he wished the newlyweds years of happiness and expressed how glad he was to now have a son.
Roxy and Matt’s first dance was to “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. There was also a special father/daughter dance and mother/son dance, as well as an anniversary dance. Other wedding fun included a photo booth and a coffee cart.
The three-tier wedding cake was done in a brushed-frosting white-to-pink ombre design, and was topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s names.
Congratulations to the beautiful newlyweds!
