Samantha & Colt ~ May 14, 2018

Samantha and Colt, who met while they were students at Arizona State University, were married on May 14, 2018.
Samantha looked lovely in a classic strapless A-line dress with a beaded and embroidered bodice and sheer overlay, sweetheart neckline, lace-up back, and a train. Her accessories included a hip-length veil, pearl necklace, and pearl bracelet. Her bouquet was a mix of black and dark red silk flowers. Her six bridemaids wore matching full-length red strapless dresses with sweetheart necklines, and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Colt got married in a black suit with a red damask vest and tie, white shirt, and white rose boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore black suits with gray vests, white shirts, red ties, and white rose boutonnieres.

Colt’s father performed the ceremony; he told the couple that if you love someone, you’ll be loyal to them, and that the love they share has now bonded them together as one.

Later, at the reception, guests enjoyed a meal that included Caesar salad, lasagna, tortellini Alfredo, and orcchiette pasta with pesto.

During the speeches, the best man talked about Colt’s dedication to his family. The matron of honor, the bride’s sister, shared that she has always looked up to Samantha even though Samantha is the younger sister, and thanked Colt for showing the bride the love she deserves. One of the bridesmaids reminisced about the first time Samantha told her about Colt, and thanked her for being her best friend. The bride’s father read a poem in honor of the couple.

Samantha and Colt shared their first dance as a married couple to “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Samantha and her father danced to “Pigs on the Wing” by Pink Floyd. Colt and his mother danced to “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins.

The three-tier wedding cake had a red ruffle bottom layer; a white, quilted middle layer, and a white with black stripe top layer. The wooden cake topper read “Mr. and Mrs.”

We wish Colt and Samantha love, luck, and joy in their new marriage!
