Samantha and Joe celebrated their wedding with a short but sweet ceremony October 25, 2014. The couple’s two sons stood with Joe as groomsmen. For the ceremony, Joe wore a black tuxedo with white shirt, vest and tie. Samantha chose a gown with spaghetti straps and embroidery throughout the bodice. A full silk skirt gave a princess-look to the dress. Her hair was worn in an up-do with diamond drop earrings while a diamond headband and veil, edged with sequins, completed her look. The bride carried a bouquet of pink, blush and ivory roses. Underneath the dress Badgley Mishka open-toed shoes with crystals poked out. Her bridesmaids wore black strapless dresses with empire waists. The groom chose a traditional black tuxedo with white shirt, vest and tie.
At the reception black tablecloths were laid in contrast to white seats and white napkins. Upon each table tall standing bouquets of snapdragons and other assorted flowers created a stunning focal centerpiece. During the speeches the groom’s brother, who was the best man, talked about how much he values the time he has spent with the bride and groom. The maid of honor grew up with the bride and told friends and family how happy she was for the couple.
The newlyweds surprised guests with a choreographed first dance to Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years.
For dessert, a porcelain couple topper sat upon a three-tiered cake with white fondant. White fondant roses decorated each corner of the cake with a sash between them and pearl piping at the base.
For the champagne toast, the couple had custom champagne glasses made, etched with their names and date of their wedding on them.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Samantha and Joe. May your lives together be filled with more magic than a fairytale. We wish you the best.
