Sara & Chase ~ September 16, 2021

Chase and Sara became man and wife on September 16, 2021.

Sara looked radiant in a sleeveless sheath gown with a V neckline and an embroidered overlay. She accessorized with a pearl necklace and a full-length veil with embroidered trim. Her bouquet featured white roses and peonies with botanical accents. Her six bridesmaid wore coordinating full-length sage green dresses. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Chase got married in a classic black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests, white shirts, black ties, white pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.

In the ceremony, the officiant prayed over the couple and remarked that communication is the most important part of a marriage. Chase and Sara lit a unity candle to signify the joining of their lives.

Next, guests dined on classic Caesar salad; grilled chicken breast with a garlic herb glaze; flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce; wild rice; and tortellini primavera. There was also a coffee bar for the guests.

In the speeches, the best man gave his best wishes to the newlyweds, and the maid of honor reminisced about her childhood days with the bride. Chase’s parents said how excited they were to see the future of their son’s marriage. Sara’s parents talked about what she was like as a child and said how glad they were that their family and Chase’s family have grown closer.

Chase and Sara’s first dance as a married couple was to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Sara and her father danced to “Stealing Cinderella” by Chuck Wicks. Chase and his mother danced to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Other wedding fun included a photobooth.

The three-tier white wedding cake had top and bottom layers done in a ribbon frosting design. The middle layer was done in white dots. The cake was decorated with white roses and topped with an ornament featuring the couple’s last name.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
