Sarah & Raymond ~ September 28, 2013

September 28, 2013 marked the marriage of Sarah and Raymond at Villa Siena. The couple’s love lent them a glow that didn’t let up at all during their wedding day.

The villa was bedecked in flowers. In the fountain spider mums floated with votive candles. The altar had several floral arrangements that fragranced the air, while an arrow of flower petals pointed to where the couple would be joined as husband and wife.

For the ceremony, Raymond wore a grey tuxedo with a silver paisley tie and white shirt. On his lapel rested a pale pink rose. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with ties and white roses. Sarah donned a strapless gown that was fitted through the hips with a mermaid flair. Lace detailing throughout the dress gave it a timeless quality. The bride’s bouquet mixed pale pink and white roses while the bridesmaid’s bouquets brought together a mix of deep and pale pink roses. The bridesmaids added to the gentle feel of the day in pale pink floor-length gowns.

The officiant at the ceremony was the groom’s mother. There was an element of vintage style brought to the wedding as the two ring bearers presented the bride and groom’s rings in antique pocket watches. Family was clearly important to the couple as Raymond’s father gave the speech at the reception.

The couple created signature specialty drinks for the reception including Sarah’s Strawberry Martini and Raymond’s Mango Jalapeno Tropical Punch. The newlyweds took to the dance floor for a traditional first dance to Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years

For the wedding cake, three tiers were decorated with a lace design while a grey bow wrapped around the second tier. Scattered deep and light pink roses finished the design.
