Savanna & Seth ~ February 28, 2016

Purple-Sequin-Wedding-Villa-Siena (27)Savanna and Seth didn’t know each other too well in high school, but they eventually connected and were married on February 28, 2016.

Savanna modeled a Maggie Sottero beaded wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and trumpet hem. Her five bridesmaids donned floor-length Sorella Vita sheath gowns covered in shimmering gold sequence. The bridal party held round bouquets of white and pink roses.

Seth sported a grey suit with a light pink necktie – complete with a fresh white rose on his lapel. Seth’s five groomsmen also donned grey suits with soft pink ties, except for one groomsmen who wore his Marine Corps dress uniform.

The sunny outdoor ceremony was held at the end of a white carpet flanked with generous amounts of white and pink rose petals. The Father of the Groom signed the marriage license during the ceremony.

During the reception, dinner included salad, beef tenderloin served with cognac cream and horseradish aioli, creamy Yukon mashed potatoes, and tortellini primavera. The wedding cake was a four-tiered white dessert adorned with a slew of soft pink roses and white hydrangeas, complete with a strip of rhinestones at the base of each layer. The cake was white almond-infused in flavor, with almond cream cheese filling and vanilla and buttercream icing.

During toasts, the Best Man TJ expressed how the bride and groom are best friends, and for them to trust and love each other, and if he’s not focusing, say one thing, “Get the net.” Lacey, the Maid of Honor and Savanna’s college roommate said she was a loyal and trustworthy friend. Another groomsman spoke, saying Seth is head over heels, and thanked his family and his brother in the military. The Father of the Bride talked about how the right guy had come to take her away.

Savanna and Seth’s first dance was to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, during which the guests held candles. The Father/Daughter Dance was to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, and the Mother/Son Dance was to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle.

Guests left with little jars of pink and white jellybeans, engagement ring key chains and bottle openers, and mints with their names and date on them.

Savanna and Seth followed their hearts, and we wish them the best of luck in their new life.
