December 20, 2014 marked a mild winter’s day for Sayky and Tonny’s wedding. Sayky was a stunning bride in a fitted strapless gown with a chunky diamond necklace. The dress showcased beaded embroidery with lacing up the back. Over hair swept to the side, hung a veil with decorative edging. After the ceremony the bride removed the veil in favor of a diamond hair clip shaped like branches. The bridesmaids wore soft pink flowing gowns with halter necklines. The bridal bouquet combined vibrant pink roses and peonies. For the wedding, Tonny wore a grey tuxedo with satin piping, a black tie and vest and white shirt. As the ceremony began the ring bearer, in a striped grey suit, helped the flower girl, who was dressed in a pink and red striped sweater and white dress with a wreath of flowers in her hair, down the aisle.
The couple began their ceremony by honoring those not present to celebrate. This was followed by a social blessing from the officiant. The couple filled the ceremony with nervous laughter and giggling, yet there was no reason for either the bride or groom to be nervous as everything went wonderfully.
A choreographed dance was performed to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and the couple was so comfortable with one another, they looked as if they had already shared a lifetime of love. To encourage a celebration of love, each time a guest clinked his or her glass, the couple kissed.
During speeches, Sayky’s cousin enlightened Tonny on the two rules of a successful marriage. Number one: the wife is always right. Number two: obey rule number 1. After dinner the bride, groom and all their family and friends gathered on the dance floor for a group picture.
For dessert, cake was served. The cake was a four-tiered replica of the bride’s dress. The bottom tier was designed to look like rouching, with a tier above shaped like a corset while the top tier was finished with a pink bow. Favors were silver cups and saucers wrapped in pink mesh.
The couple left the villa to a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Sayky and Tonny. May the nervousness that marked your ceremony unfold into the deepest flowers of love. We wish you the best.
