Shauna and Daniel, who met online through Coffee Meets Bagel, were married on January 18, 2019.
Shauna dazzled in a strapless trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline and a jeweled belt. Her accessories included drop earrings, a pendant necklace, a jeweled bracelet, and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of large white flowers, accented with greenery. She was accompanied by four bridesmaids.
Daniel got married in a traditional black tuxedo with a white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square, and white flower boutonniere. He was accompanied by four groomsmen.
During the ceremony, the officiant retold the story of how the Shauna and Daniel met, and detailed the ways that the couple complement and love each other. The newlyweds pledged their love to Shauna’s young daughter, who was also the flower girl. A traditional Irish handfasting ritual was included in the ceremony.
Inside at the reception, guests signed a globe in addition to the traditional guest book, then sat down to a plated meal of mixed-greens salad with julienned carrots, pear tomatoes, and house vinaigrette dressing; caprese chicken; Yukon Gold potatoes; and green beans.
Several members of the bridal party spoke during the speeches, including the best man, the man of honor (the bride’s brother), the bride’s daughter, and the groom.
Daniel and Shauna shared their first dance as husband and wife to “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Daniel and his mother danced to “Never Alone.” Other wedding fun included the shoe game.
The three-tier wedding cake was done with a simple shimmery white fondant and decorated with a cascade of white flowers.
We wish the bride and groom all the best in their new adventure together!
