Sophia & Jared ~ October 16, 2015

October-Fall-Pumpkin-Wedding (28)For Sophia and Jared’s wedding, the couple chose a fall theme with pumpkins and fall leaf decorations. They were married October 16, 2015 at Villa Siena. Dressing for her wedding day, Sophia wore a strapless gown sewn with sequins and beads to sparkle. Her look was finished with a cathedral length gown over a partial up-do and diamond earrings. Underneath her dress was a pair of pearl beaded flip-flops. By her side that day were her bridesmaids in black floor-length gowns with empire waists. They each carried a bouquet of red roses.  Jared dressed for his bride in a black tuxedo with a black vest and bowtie and a red rose in his lapel. Satin piping striped the sides of his tuxedo pants. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos with black vests and black ties.

The ceremony was held inside as the day brought rain, but that didn’t prevent the couple from sharing a kiss or two throughout the day outside under an umbrella. The groom took a deep breath as he walked down the aisle to wait for his bride. First came the ring bearer carrying a sign saying Uncle Jared, Here comes your best friend. Then came the bride. All eyes were on her. The couple was married in a Catholic ceremony that included three bible readings and a string quartet playing.

Decorations for the reception included glass pumpkins that glowed with candlelight and fall leaves scattered around the tables. The couple also included a memory table as a tribute to their grandparents.

Sophia & Jared chose My Best Friend by Tim McGraw as the song to play during their first dance. This was followed by Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle for the father & daughter dance and My Wish for the mother & son dance.

As a thank you, the couple took a picture of themselves holding a picture of themselves holding a picture of them holding a picture of themselves at different times in their lives and a la the television show Modern Family.

Dessert included a three-tired all white cake with a piped lace buttercream design and white roses scattered throughout.  A monogrammed S decorated the middle tier. Favors were Hershey’s Kisses in fall colors with a tag saying Kisses from Mr. & Mrs.. The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell. Congratulations Sophia & Jared. May your lives together be radiant with love. We wish you the best.
