Donovan and Stephanie, who met on a dating app, became man and wife on March 30, 2024.
Stephanie looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder ballgown with flower appliques and beading. Her accessories included drop earrings and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was a beautiful blend of flowers in shades of white, ivory, pink, and red. Her four bridesmaids wore individual full length slate-blue dresses. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Donovan wore a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt, black bow tie, and boutonniere of two white roses. His four groomsmen dressed to match him.
After an outdoor ceremony, guests dined outside on a spring mix salad with strawberries, apples, grapes, feta cheese, and poppy seed vinaigrette; flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce; grilled Tuscan chicken; potatoes au gratin; and grilled vegetables. The signature cocktails were a Kiss Me Gingerly (vodka, agave, strawberry, lemon, and ginger beer) and a Marry Me Mezcal (mezcal, lime, orange liqueur, and agave).
During the toasts, the bride’s father spoke about how lucky he was to see his daughter grow up and how excited he was for her new adventure.
The first dance was to “Grow Old With You”. Stephanie and her father danced to “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart. Donovan and his mother danced to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding.
Other wedding fun included a photobooth and a trivia game.
The four-tier white wedding cake was done in a brushed frosting design and decorated with pink and white roses.
