Stephanie and Finias were married on April 10, 2016 – a beautiful but rainy Sunday.
Stephanie’s wedding gown featured a semi-sweetheart neckline with a mermaid hem and lace details. She clutched a posy bouquet of white roses and stood atop textured, Menbur peep-toe heels. Her five bridesmaids all wore unique, soft-pink sheath gowns. Finias sported a navy blue suit, accented with a royal blue necktie and pocket square, all with a white rose on his lapel.
The indoor ceremony was held in front of the fireplace, and parts were held in their family language of Romanian. During the reception, each table was accented with gold dinner plates, white candles, and white hydrangeas.
Dinner followed starting with a classic Caesar salad, then grilled chicken stuffed with prosciutto and cheese, and sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce – plus herb roasted red potatoes and zucchini boats. The four-tiered wedding cake was heavily layered in white frosting, and adorned in a sash of white roses – crowned with a glittery gold “Mr. & Mrs.” cake topper. A coffee and tea service followed dessert.
Toasts were given in Romanian from friends and family. The couple used the hashtag #beautyandthebeard for those sharing the special day through social media. There was also a Polaroid Guestbook – creating a unique way for wedding guests to leave their best wishes. We also wish Stephanie and Finias the best in their new life together.
