A Traditional Wedding in Beautiful Burgundy
If we had to describe Stephanie and Eduardo’s August wedding in one word, it would be “timeless.” The young couple’s nuptials combined traditional wedding elements with modern styles and trends, creating a beautiful celebration that suited everyone’s tastes!
Stephanie and Eduardo chose a burgundy and pink color palette with roses, peonies, and rose gold decor; this looked particularly beautiful against the tan walls and dark wood floor of our ceremony space, La Stanza Chianciano. The bride looked modern, yet classically beautiful, in a trumpet-style gown with a lace-covered bodice and a cathedral veil that added some serious drama to her look. The groom also gave his look a modern twist, wearing a classic black suit with a black button-down shirt and burgundy tie. And, of course, their bridal party was dressed to the nines: the bridesmaids wore long burgundy gowns in assorted styles, while the groomsmen wore traditional suits and burgundy ties.
The ceremony was a traditional affair, which included the couple lighting a unity candle. And after the vows and the rings, it was time for the reception — which included a buffet-style dinner of Caesar salad, spicy vodka penne, grilled lemon chicken, mac and cheese, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, and cake for dessert (yum!).
The evening was also full of dancing: the newlyweds shared a dance to Brad Paisley’s “She’s Everything,” and the bridal party got guests moving with their performance to “Cumbia Del Sol” by Control. If their wedding is any indication, we’re convinced that Stephanie and Eduardo’s life together will be filled with many fun and lively moments. After all, the guests seemed to be having a blast all night — and we did too!
