Black, Gold, and 1920s Glamor for Tyler and Nick’s Big Day
When a couple meets at a music festival, you’re pretty sure they know how to have a great time — and that was certainly the case with Tyler and Nick, whose The Great Gatsby-themed wedding was a blast! We loved the 1920s glamor and the attention to detail, every step of the way. The bridesmaids were in flapper gear (with some great headpieces!) and Tyler was glowing in her mermaid-style dress — complete with a stunning costume change for dancing the night away.
The weather was still beautiful at the Villa for their gorgeous September outdoor ceremony. There were so many meaningful moments, from the wine ceremony to the reading of The Art of Marriage, it was clear that this couple understood what it meant to be blending their lives together.
As we moved into the reception, the 1920s theme really took hold — and what a sight it was! White, black, and gold were everywhere, with feathers and stunning art deco touches. But the day kept the couple and their love at its center, with the speeches showing just how much the couples mean to each other. While there were certainly laughs to be had — Edward Cullen, anyone? — it was obvious from all of the speeches that Tyler and Nick are best friends who have built an incredible relationship. (And the best man made clear he’s expecting some nieces or nephews in the near future!)
Fitting for the theme, we waved goodbye to them with a sparkler exit — and the sparkling, glamorous celebration was complete! We wish them all the best.
