Valerie & Justin ~ December 28, 2016

Valerie and Justin were married on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, after years of knowing each other after Justin walked into a bar where Valerie was bartending.

Valerie donned a sleeveless, champagne and ivory vintage lace gown, which was made by Martina Liana and purchased at Mariée Bridal in Scottsdale. She stood atop Valentino Garavani peep-toe heels, wore custom laced gloves, and held a bouquet of red roses, greenery, and fuchsia flowers. Her bridesmaids wore cranberry colored, floor-length gowns with unique necklines.

Justin sported a black suit with a black necktie and silver tie bar. His four groomsmen also wore black, two-piece suits with black bowties and red pocket squares.

The indoor wedding ceremony was officiated by Matt Nathanson. Valerie and Justin wrote love letters to each other that they would read on their first anniversary next year. They also performed a wine ceremony.

Dinner included plated Caprese salads, and a buffet with beef tenderloin, grilled, boneless chicken breast, green beans, and potatoes au gratin. The three-tiered, rounded white wedding cake was coated in white fondant, and adorned with fresh red roses. The golden, cursive cake topper read, “Tale as old as time.” There was also a hot chocolate station.

During toasts, the Maid of Honor gave the bride and groom each a wish. The Best Man told the guests about how Valerie and Justin met.

Valerie and Justin’s First Dance was to “Never Stop” by SafetySuit. The Father/Daughter Dance was to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle, and the Mother/Son Dance was to “93 Million Miles” by Jason Mraz.

Valerie and Justin’s wedding used the hashtag #forricherorpoorer, and they seem as though they are about to have a very rich life together.
