Vanessa and Gustavo were married on Saturday, June 25, 2016 with a beautiful, red and gold-colored wedding.
Vanessa modeled a lace textured wedding gown with an allusion neckline and mermaid hem. She also donned a mantilla veil, and held a unique bouquet of jewel encrusted red roses. Her bridesmaids wore red, sleeveless sheath gowns with bejeweled bodices, and the Maid of Honor modeled a red trumpet skirt with a white, bedazzled sleeveless top.
Gustavo sported a three-piece, charcoal gray suit with a white dress shirt, red necktie, and red rose on his lapel. His groomsmen wore two-piece charcoal gray suits with red neckties and white dress shirts – all sporting red roses on their lapels.
Dinner started with Caesar salads, followed by chicken marsala, parmesan risotto, and green beans with almonds. The three-tiered round wedding cake came with gold and red detailed designs, and a bundle of red flowers as the cake topper – which held a cascading piece of red fabric with gold details that was made out of gumpaste. The cake was white and red velvet in flavor. There was also a candy table with dishes full of red colored treats.
During toasts, Daniel spoke, and wanted the guests to all say, “Hell yeah.”
Vanessa and Gustavo’s first dance was to a Spanish-language song. The Father/Daughter Dance was to Steven Curtis Chapman’s “Cinderella,” and the Mother/Son Dance was to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.
The reception included a choreographed salsa dance, and belly dancers also performed for the guests. Guests left with glasses with a gold engraving of an elephant and the bride and groom’s names. Vanessa and Gustavo also made their own elephant décor out of flowers.
We wish all the best to Vanessa and Gustavo!
