Whitney & Jeremy ~ February 28, 2014

February 28th, 2014 saw Whitney married to Jeremy at Villa Siena on a bright Arizona winter’s day. The couple had their ceremony outdoors under a sky filled with cotton clouds.

Whitney was as bright as the sky in a dress with rouching across the top. A beaded belt sparkled with crystals. Fitted below the waist the gown ended in a traditional skirt. On the soles of Whitney’s shoes were written Mr. & Mrs. with the date of their wedding. The bride wore her hair in a partial up-do. Around her, her bridesmaids in coral dresses brought together friendship and love. Both the bride and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of white, champagne and coral roses. The groom wore a grey tuxedo with grey vest, white tie and white shirt. The groomsmen had grey tuxedos and silver ties. All wore Converse sneakers.

As the ceremony was about to begin, three “ring security guards” walked down the aisle, carrying a secure case with the couple’s rings in it. The three boys all wore sunglasses and performed their job flawlessly.

A friend of the couple was the officiant for the ceremony. Personalizing the ceremony, the couple wrote their own vows. During the unity candle ceremony both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom spoke.

At the reception, the bride and groom thanked their family and friends for attending. The bride’s father and maid of honor then gave toasts.

For the first dance, Whitney and Jeremy performed a choreographed dance followed by the father/daughter dance to Isn’t She Lovely and the mother/son dance to My Wish.

The newlywed table had wood signs with Mr., Mrs. and a heart between. The guest tables each had a bottle of wine with a personalized label noting the table number on it. Favors were personalized bottles of wine.

A wedding cake of three tiers with a silver monogrammed topper fulfilled the guests’ sweet tooth. Those that weren’t satiated were welcomed to fill up from the candy bar decorated with turquoise and silver balloons.

Congratulations Whitney and Jeremy. May each day be filled with the laughter and warmth of your wedding day. We wish you the best.
