March 14, 2015, Whitney and Jim were married at Villa Siena. The couple bedecked the Villa in red roses, creating a rich, luxurious feel to the surroundings. Red roses artfully decorated the Villa from a floral arrangement to welcome guests, to the altar from which hung strands of crystals with red roses strung through them and red rose bouquets on either side. Each aisle of seating was decorated with a bunch of red roses and the runner to the altar was sprinkled with red rose petals. Table centerpieces were three tiered vases with red roses floating on top and red tulips floating inside the vases, held down by white crystals.

To set the tone for the day, guests arrived to find a sign saying, Welcome to our love story. For the walk to her intended, Whitney wore a strapless lace gown with a slight flair at the bottom. Underneath the dress was a pair of red suede shoes with black bows. For the ceremony the bride wore a veil with her hair swept to one side. Wine red roses and calla lilies filled her bouquet. Bridesmaids wore cherry red gowns, from David’s Bridal, with a single shoulder strap. They each carried bouquets of red roses and white calla lilies. Whitney’s daughters, as cute as buttons, were the flower girls. Jim looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a black tie and burgundy vest. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos but had burgundy ties. The ring bearer was handsome in a tuxedo with bowtie. The ceremony included lighting a unity candle.

Red up-lighting set the stage for the reception as did a few more wooden signs such as: A true love story never ends and Love is intoxicating. During the speeches, Whitney’s best friend and maid of honor said, “I don’t know where I would be without you but I do know that I’m supposed to be here today. The best man lightened the mood by making jokes about being part of a big Greek family and alluded to the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

A very personalized take on the wedding cake included black and white edible photographs of the couple with damask ribbon wrapping the bottom of each tier. Fresh red roses decorated the cake as did a red crystal ‘C’. A candy table offered red, black and white candies. For A little treat for your dancing feet, red, white and black flip-flops were available in a variety of sizes.

Congratulations Whitney and Jim. May your love be the constant that brings a smile to your faces each and every day. We wish you the best.
