Zoe and Giovanni Make A Whole New World
With our Tuscan architecture and Italian romance at every turn, we have to say that we think Villa Siena was the perfect Arizona wedding venue for Zoe and Giovanni’s gorgeous day filled with touches of Italy. This couple met when Giovanni moved from Sicily to work in his family’s Italian restaurant where Zoe was a host — and the rest is history. Their wedding was filled with nods to the Italian heritage, with the Sicilian flag on the wedding cake, olive oil as part of the favors for the guests, and so much more — and we love it when a couple takes the time to incorporate those meaningful details.
But while Italy was a major feature, the focus of the day was of course on the gorgeous couple themselves. Zoe was a beautiful bride in her sweetheart ball gown — and the sleeve details were simply to die for. Surrounded by whites and pinks (such a lovely choice having the bridesmaids wear a variety of colors), it was such a romantic June wedding.
In the six years the couple have been together, it’s clear they’ve built such an exceptional foundation already — between themselves and with their family and friends. During the toasts, the bride and groom took the time to thank the family who had traveled so far to be there — and we also had meaningful memories from the mother of the bride and one of the bridesmaids. This couple obviously not only means so much to each other, but to everyone around them!
Of course, there were so many unforgettable moments to choose from — but we think the first dance “Il Mondo è Mio” was something we won’t forget anytime soon. What a special day!
